BB King
His reign as King of the Blues has been as long as that of any monarch on earth. Yet B.B. King continues to wear his crown well. At age 83, he is still light on his feet, singing and playing the blues with relentless passion. Time has no apparent effect on B.B., other than to make him more popular, more cherished, more relevant than ever. Don't look for him in some kind of semi-retirement; look for him out on the road, playing for people, popping up in a myriad of T.V. commercials, or laying down tracks for his next album. B.B. King is as alive as the music he plays, and a grateful world can't get enough of him.
B.B. continues to tour extensively, averaging over 250 concerts per year around the world. Classics such as "Payin' The Cost To Be The Boss," "The Thrill Is Gone," How Blue Can You Get," "Everyday I Have The Blues," and "Why I Sing The Blues" are concert (and fan) staples.

Not many artists can claim to be “discovered” in February, first radio performance in April, by June be performing on live TV with their own band, in July traveling to Los Angeles to seal a production deal with a high profile veteran Producer, and Opening for the legendary B.B. King n September! Stephen Norwood is such a remarkable young talent all this success in such a short time comes as no surprise.
Stephen is a rising R&B artist who has quickly become a popular entertainer in the Atlanta music scene. He can be found belting out his rendition of John Legend's song "Ordinary People" at venues that have a knack for discovering great talent such as the legendary Café 290, Apache Café and Smith’s Olde Bar just to name a few. . Although only 18 years old, his resume, phenomenal voice, and stage presence are mature well beyond his years. A family friend recognized the extraordinary talent Stephen possessed and introduced him to his manager, Jayne Madigan of JEM Entertainment in February of 2009. Within a week, she had booked his first show and he was off on the fast track to fame. Stephen has packed a lot of experience into his short professional history. He recorded a three-song demo CD in March which includes “A Song for You” by Donny Hathaway; “Ordinary People” by John Legend; and “Unchain My Heart” by Joe Cocker. The following month of April, Stephen gave his first live radio/TV performance on WUGA in Athens, Georgia and also was one of the first to sing the National Anthem at the newly launched Gwinnett Braves (farm team for the Atlanta Braves) Opening Weekend. As Stephen developed his style and genre, (think Donny Hathaway meets Amy Winehouse, creating an old school R&B sound with a modern twist) it became evident he needed his own band.. Stephen formally launched his career on June 22nd at the legendary Café 290 in Roswell, Georgia, an upscale suburb of Atlanta. Dirty South TV was on hand with the live broadcast, blasting Stephen and his band out onto the airwaves of this number one rated independent music station, to 100 countries around the globe. Stephen became a regional act on July 3rd with an interview and performance on the “Your Carolina” morning show. In late July, Stephen and his manager traveled to Los Angeles to secure a production deal with a famed LA Producer. Look for this announcement and original songs coming soon! Future engagements will include a pre-game concert at Atlanta’s Turner Field for the Atlanta Braves vs Mets game on September 17th to an estimated crowd of 40,000. Stephen began singing at the age of eight, appearing in musicals such as “Oliver Twist,” “Sound of Music” and “The Music Man.” He was a member of the International Children’s Choir and performed as Troy in “High School Musical” at the age of 15, an age when he also became a pupil at the studio of the well known vocal coach Jan Smith, who has coached Rob Thomas, Usher, and Diana Degarmo. Stephen lists his music influences as Ray Charles, Donny Hathaway, Duffy, Amy Winehouse, and Paolo Nutini. A homeschooled student, Stephen began attending Georgia State University at the age of 16. He also plays the piano and lists photography, painting, and collecting old vinyl records as hobbies.
Stephen is clear about his career goals: “I want to be successful in the music industry by obtaining a recording contract and traveling the world to share my music!”
