The Mable House Complex

A LOCAL HISTORY ADVENTURE

For Elementary School Students

 

The Historic Mable House and Arts Center will be open for elementary field trips from 9:30 AM until 1:30 PM with reservations at a charge of $3.00 per child.  A check is due upon arrival payable to:  Friends of the Mable House.

 

Exciting participatory experiences will be offered to each class touching on:

     Native American life in Cobb County

     Civil War

     19th Century Farm Life

 

Activities are scheduled according to age groups and may include:

     Old fashioned games                                                Outdoor experiences

          Storytelling                                                                   Art projects                    

Visual art and historic demonstrations                     Panning for gold

                     Historic and gallery tours                                          Old fashioned snacks              

                                                         

                                                  

Reservations must be made 30 days in advance and space is limited.  Please call early in the school year to reserve your date.
