Join Draft Horse Comedy to learn the fundamentals of sketch comedy and the process of writing Saturday Night Live style sketches. Each week, students will write an original sketch to be read aloud in class. Working in a professional writer’s room style setting, you will give and receive notes, engage in rewrites, and work with fellow writers to punch up the comedy. This is a great class for anyone interested in writing TV, screenplays, plays, fiction, nonfiction, or other narrative work. In six weeks, students will have a portfolio of four hilarious comedy sketches ready to bring to the stage or screen.
