Location : Mable House Arts Center

Learn how to safely create beautiful handmade *glycerin-based soaps with a method that is safe, efficient, & fun!  Add your choice of herbs, dried flowers, fragrant essential oils, and/or many choices all provided for you.

The soap-making basics will be presented in a simple and user-friendly hands-on method.  Watch, learn & then we will create your own, together!  Melt and pour raw glycerin soap into provided rectangular soap molds to take home, unmold, and behold the following day! This fun-filled & upbeat class promises a productive and creative experience.

Leave with (4) soaps made exclusively by you created from plant-based organic materials and optional wrapping and finishing if you want to make these gifts.  After this class, you’ll be on your way to soap making confidence and endless gift-making ideas for life!  (Instructor Natasha Dyer has been making soap for birthdays, Christmas, bridal showers, etc., for 20 years now!)  All you need to bring is an apron and your creativity!

Included in registration, each participant will be provided with materials to create (4) soaps:

  • (4) rectangular soap mold (to keep)
  • Dried flowers, herbs
  • (4) dyes to be used in class (green, blue, red, yellow)
