  are busy but want to create with the sewing machine. This beginner class i
 s for you! Learn how the sewing machine works and how to measure, stitch an
 d create home decor items and bags from fabric using a sewing machine.  Stu
 dents should bring their own sewing machines with manual controls and the i
 nstruction manual.  The sewing machines used should be less than 30 years o
 ld and confirmed to be in good working order before class. No repair servic
 e is offered. A limited number of class machines are available for use for 
 $20 per term. Please contact the instructor one week prior to class to use 
 a provided sewing machine. A supply list will provide a list of additional 
 supplies needed. Students will be shown how to develop a “Sewing Supply Box
 ” and will want to purchase their own items for it. Students should bring i
 n their own fabric as described - typically 100% cotton. \nIn person sewing
  instruction from other providers in the Atlanta area ranges from $300 - $4
