B ut by knowing and using the right materials and equipment and understanding some basic techniques, you will have in hand the ingredients to be success ful. This workshop will dwell on the important fundamentals and help you be come familiar with the special strengths of this medium, introducing you to the world of watercolor and its possibilities! Heidi will demonstrate the basics of how to use the brush & paint, and then have students practice the different strokes they can get with the brush to get the feel of makin g thick/ thin lines, the effects of more or less pigment and water in the b rush, and how to create a wash.
