This is a 2 day workshop for people interested in the creative ways of Raku! This unique Japanese firing of pottery is a technique developed in the 1500's. Join us on a Friday evening to build your pieces, and then a week later on Saturday to fire them in a very unique way! Bring a Sack Lunch for the day of the firing.
Saturday Firing: Students must wear long pants, and closed toes. It is recommended to have long sleeves. All hair must be pulled back, and a hat or bandanna are recommended. Sunglasses are recommended.
