Welcome to Penny’s Candies, a locally owned Cobb-based business where each sweet treat is a taste of cherished family traditions! My name is Penny, and the story of my candy company begins in my mother’s kitchen, where she perfected the art of making homemade caramel each holiday season.  She would wrap these delicious caramels in wax paper, alongside beautifully decorated cookies, and share them with friends and neighbors as holiday gifts.

Inspired by my mother’s loving spirit and exceptional recipe, I began making my own caramel and chocolate turtles three decades ago. The joy of creating these treats soon extended to my family, with my husband and children eagerly sharing my caramels and turtles with coworkers and teachers. Their enthusiasm was so overwhelming that I decided to turn this passion into something more.

Today, Penny’s Candies is a celebration of those memories and the happiness that homemade candy can bring. I take pride in continuing my mother’s legacy by handcrafting each batch of caramel with the same love and dedication she did. Over the years, my caramel and other sweet treats have delighted customers at craft shows and holiday markets, and I’m thrilled to share that same joy with you.
