Open to Ages 7-10yrs 

Spring has sprung! Flowers grow, birds sing, bees buzz, caterpillars emerge as butterflies… and you’ll do all those things too in this 2-hour party! 

Dance The Bunny Hop, fly and buzz with The Flight of the the Bumblebee, hear the bird calls of the cuckoo, chickadee, woodpecker and hummingbird - and songs inspired by them. Grow your music knowledge with a music note tree and learn about the woodwind family: live demos of flute & clarinet plus videos of saxophone, oboe and bassoon. Drama games include spring jokes and collaborative stories.

Discover the magic of the butterfly life cycle with Ms. Ashley as you paint and sculpt each stage from egg, to larva, to pupa to beautiful winged flight! And take home a “magic bean” to watch another life cycle as it grows from seed to sprout to plant over the next few weeks.

Kids rotate between 2 classes in the 2-hour block:

 1-hour art class with Ashley Walker + 1-hour music & drama with Holly Tate
