Hear ye, hear ye! Lords and Ladies of the Kingdom of Cobb…
Join us for a crazy medieval adventure on stage at our Showtime: Tangled & Twisted musical theatre camp - with modern-day and mixed up versions of your favorite fairytales - culminating in a hilarious & high-energy performance at the end of the week at the Mable House Amphitheatre! You’ll also receive a keepsake video of our show.
Our “Tangled & Twisted” show inspiration includes:
Silly skits like Rapunzel 2024, Red Riding Hood Riding in Reverse, Knights Who Can’t Fight, Beauty is the Beast, Rindercella & the Hairy Dogfather
Improv fun like fairy godmothers with spells gone awry Merlin -vs- Rumplestiltskin & crazy ideas your kids create
Movie-inspired music Tangled, Princess & the Frog, Cinderella, Beauty & the Beast, A Knight’s Tale, Disney’s Descendents & more
Action packed choreography with sword fights, fairy flights and frying pans… who knew?!
Costumes & sets include castles & dragons, knights & princesses, witches & wizards, fairies & frogs
And the best part is, kids will explore their own imagination and ingenuity to create a full stage production!
Under the guidance of Holly Tate, a professional vocalist, acting coach and our creative director, and her talented team of camp counselors experienced in musical theatre, campers will learn how to…
memorize skits & scripts
rehearse vocal & instrumental music
design & build scenic sets
create costumes & props
choreograph dances & action scenes
create special effects
and more!
Whether your camper is new to the theatre, an experienced performer, or a backstage-type personality, we have a role for everyone.
Future Broadway stars will have opportunities for lead roles, vocal solos or dance acts, while shy kids can perform in the ensemble as a supporting cast member. Not a singer/dancer? No problem! We need comic relief for our funny skits and backstage heroes to help with set production, props, costumes & special effects.
Journey with us from “Once upon a time” to SHOWTIME!
