East Cobb Quilters' Guild: Workshop Highlights

East Cobb Quilters' Guild: Workshop Highlights Inspired by Our Guest Speakers is a vibrant showcase of what happens when creativity and inspiration collide. The quilts on display were created by guild members after attending workshops led by a lineup of talented guest artists. This exhibit captures the fresh ideas, bold techniques, and personal flair that emerged from those sessions—proof that the Guild is always exploring, learning, and leveling up their craft.

    Uprooted Ties

Uprooted Ties is Krista Voto’s solo textile show, where roots, vines, and fiber art collide. With tangled, twisty forms that mimic nature’s chaos, Krista digs into what connects us—physically, emotionally, and socially. It’s all about transformation, tension, and finding beauty in the messy in-between. Her chrysalis-like forms explore femininity, change, and pressure—from the personal to the societal.

Fired Dreams: Artistic Aspirations Through Pottery

Fired Dreams: Artistic Aspirations Through Pottery by Melissa Hammaker brings playful charm and modern flair to the world of clay. From pigs and cats to sleek pots and quirky forms, each piece blurs the line between whimsy and elegance. It’s pottery with personality—and plenty of it. Melissa’s work invites you to smile, pause, and see everyday forms in a totally new way.Whether you’re here for the fun or the finesse, this collection is sure to leave an impression.
