Tai Chi is an ancient internal Chinese martial art exercise consisting of slow, relaxed movements that has been practiced in China for a thousand years for defense training, health benefits, and longevity. Join certified instructor Maria Hammond for a class that offers a myriad of health benefits including: cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, etc. Tai Chi is also beneficial to the mind by helping to improve concentration and memory as a system of spiritual meditation in motion. This workshop is designed to give you a sampling of the benefits of Tai Chi.
